Phone Repair Terms & Conditions
At the time of job booking you will be provided with a free estimate of the approximate cost of the repair by using the Fonefix website.
If the phone is fully repairable for this estimated price then the job will be completed as normal and returned to you via CourierPost. If the initial estimate was incorrect, Fonefix will contact you to discuss the revised estimate and will require authorisation to proceed. Fonefix will not be held responsible for the loss of SIM cards – please remove it from your phone before sending it for repair. Fonefix will not be held liable for any loss incurred as result of theft or forced entry into our premises or while your property is in transit. Non-warranty repairs to mobile phones will be covered under the Fonefix warranty for a period of 90 days for the fault that was repaired. Please note that repairs to liquid or corrosion damaged mobile phones will not be guaranteed. Fonefix shall under no circumstances be held responsible for any damage, loss and/or expense arising out of or connected with faulty manufacture and/or design of the phone and/or spare parts and for any consequential and/or unforeseen losses of whatsoever nature. If the DATA Back-up option is selected - Fonefix will attempt to honor the request but cannot guarantee the success of retaining the information. Fonefix cannot be held responsible for the loss of personal data of whatsoever nature: Customer’s responsibility is to ensure all data is backed up. Due to the nature of Software Applications, Fonefix cannot be held liable for disintegration of software platforms that might result in the handset being permanently damaged during UNLOCK, FIRMWARE UPGRADES AND LANGUAGE UPLOADS. |
