It's been a few months, and your AirPods Pro are looking a little dingy? You want to share your music with your pals, but one look at the caked-in earwax and discolored ear tips makes even your closest friends cringe in disgust? Routine care will not only keep your AirPods looking fresh for much longer, but it will also maintain them hygienically.
Soft, dry and lint-free cloth

70% isopropyl alcohol wipe, 75% ethyl alcohol wipe or Clorox Disinfecting Wipe
Soft-bristled brush
Avoid using sharp items or abrasive materials to clean AirPods.
Avoid using bleach or hydrogen peroxide-based products or any products that contains them.
Do not submerge or place your AirPods under running water or any cleaning agents.
Avoid getting moisture in any openings.
Put nothing in the charging ports to avoid harming the metal connections.
Avoid using any alcohol or disinfectant wipes on the speaker mesh.
Use the soft, dry, lint free cloth to wipe down the device.
Using a dry cotton swab, clean the microphone and speaker meshes.
If your device comes into contact with anything that could stain or damage it, such as soaps, shampoos, conditioners, lotions, perfumes, solvents, detergent, acids or acidic foods, insect repellent, sunscreen, oil, or hair colour, you should:
Wipe them clean with a gentle, dry, lint-free cloth that has been slightly dampened with fresh water.
Before placing them back into the charging case, make sure they're fully dry.
Wait till they're entirely dry before attempting to use them.
Use the lint-free cloth to gently wipe down the charging case. A 70% Isopropyl alcohol can be used to dampen the cloth if necessary. Make sure no liquid gets into the charging ports and allow the charging case to dry before usage.
Using a clean, dry, soft-bristled brush, remove any debris from the Lightning connector.
Tap the AirPod on a soft, dry, lint-free cloth with the ear tip pointing downward to remove any water that may have gathered in the ear tip.
Remove each AirPod's ear tips and clean them under running water. Neither soap nor other home cleaners should be used.
Using a lint-free cloth, wipe the ear tips. Before reattaching each ear tips to the AirPod, make sure the ear tips are fully dry.

Remove the cushions from the ear cups.
Mix 1 tsp. (5ml) of liquid laundry detergent and 1 cup (250ml) of water inside a clean container.
Hold your AirPods Max upside down while cleaning the headband to avoid fluids from pouring into the headband attachment point.
Using a lint-free cloth, dip it into the soapy water solution, wring it out slightly, and gently wipe the cushions and headband for 1 minute each.
Using a different cloth and slightly wet it with fresh water, wipe the cushions and headband clean.
Remove any excess moisture from the cushions and headband with a dry, lint-free cloth.
Before reattaching the cushions and using your AirPods Max, lay them flat to dry for at least a day.
